About ICSC TV Online!
For over fifteen years, Iowa City Senior Center Television [ICSC TV] has been producing videos by and for seniors. Through the local public access stations, ICSC TV has provided quality educational, informational and entertaining programs for older adults unable to come to the center, and for the general public. In April 2006, ICSC TV, in collaboration with the Intermedia Area of the School of Art and Art History of The University of Iowa launched ICSC TV Online!, an Internet television initiative.

By expanding ICSC TV to the Internet, the project promotes the opportunity for seniors to participate and express themselves socially, politically and creatively online. In the process the reach of senior voices is expanded. ICSC TV Online! encourages senior citizens to communicate to a global audience about issues of interest and concern, as well as create content that promotes a positive image of seniors and their contributions to culture and society.
